GenCon Stuff
First draft event schedules are up now at www.gencon.com.
Anyone planning on doing TD, we'll need to figure out some blocks of time when people are available, so go look to see what events you particularly want, and post when you think you'll be free. Also let us know if you've bought a badge or not so we know who's available to hit the system for tickets.
I'll be busy Thurs. and Fri. until 5:30ish, but I'm available otherwise. Please note that True Dungeon runs start at 10:00 AM and go every 12 minutes until 11:59 PM. There are no runs on Sunday. I believe our group is planning on going for the puzzle-oriented version, and I'd prefer a run that's not too late.
Edit: Since it is not obvious at all where the Event Catalog is from the GenCon site, here is the link Event Catalog...man I hate GenCon people -Matt

Personally, I think Thursday around 6ish is going to be our best bet. My schedule is looking a little full otherwise (unless I move when I'm planning to play the LG Special, then we could do Saturday morning - if we did that, I'd like to go for about 10 am.) Counting in Kathy's restrictions, I wouldn't be able to do Friday until after 9, which is a bit late as far as I'm concerned.

Most of the stuff I want to do can be scheduled around True Dungeon, but Thursday evening sounds good to me. On a different topic, were people interested in the Open this year. I would be interested if we could form a team, but I don't want to play with random people.

Thursday evening should be fine for me. Like Ryan, anything else I do I should be able to work around TD.
I'm iffy about the open this year. I'm leaning toward "no".

Yeah, I don't really think the Open is going to fit into my schedule this year. Maybe next year, if I skip volunteering.

I'll do TD with you guys if you want, but would step out if you fill the team without me. After 6 on Thursday would be great. I'd rather push it as far toward midnight as possible, probably, but toward 6 would be fine. If you schedule it really close to the start of an hour, I can't make any promises about being there 15 minutes early either, but starting at X:15 - X:45 I should be fine with. I guess it really matters how much that 15 minutes really matters (BTW, if they actually want you to be there 15 minutes early, they should just extend the slot time that you sign up for by 15 minutes and have the start time of the slot be the 15 minutes early...just saying they aren't smart...like at all).

Oh, and I'd be interested in the open if others would, but I've decided I'm more at GenCon for the board games more than any thing else nowadays anyway.

Most of the ones that aren't in there yet are ones that were submitted after the deadline. Anything in particular you were looking for that you didn't see?

Pushing the True Dungeon slot later is fine with me. Whatever we can get is OK.
I hear there's a Living Kalamar special, so I'm going to plan on that, as well as the Living Greyhawk special and the kick-off of Greyhawk Ruins. Not sure what else.

*waves* I hope y'all have fun with TD, as always I welcome people to stop by the Auction and say 'hi'. We're, for better or for worse, under new management, so it may be a little hectic but I'll make time for people.

Hey, all, I'd like to take a quick poll of who all is intending to play the Special on Sunday for LKoK. It's the same one from origins and those of you who still check up on the Angel will know it's already had some pretty drastic results.
